Competing Oxygen Transfer Standards

Please find below a copy of SSI’s presentation on the two major world standards for oxygen transfer efficiency of submerged bubble diffusers. The same equipment tested according to different standards can return dramatically different results, and practitioners should be aware of these differences during the design process, so that they do not undersize their blowers, aeration systems, and power supply, and so that they can fairly evaluate proposals applying the different standards.
